Woman Owned New York City is in formation as a nonprofit.
Our goal: Raise what we can by year-end and $100,000 next year to support softball teams, celebrate women leaders through events, and more across the five boroughs and the globe.

How it Started
“I didn’t ask what my city could do for me — I asked what I could do for my city.”
That’s how Woman Owned NYC started. After years of working with women leaders across the country, we wanted to focus right here in NYC — because wherever you are chances are there are opportunities to celebrate women more. We wanted to bring more attention to those who make this city go, and supporting the next generation learning to lead through sports. We believe visibility builds opportunity — and that giving back keeps our ecosystem strong.
